Grilled Holiday Polish

Product used in this recipe:

INGREDIENTS:

5-7 oz. Slotkowski Polish Kielbasa
8 oz. Mashed potatoes
1 Poblano chile, roasted
1/4 cup Whole cranberry sauce, canned or fresh

DIRECTIONS:

  • To roast chile, place on an open flame and "char" the skin until completely black. Wrap chile in plastic and allow to sit for a half hour; the skin will soften, making it very easy to remove. After removing skin, slice the chile into 1/2" julienne strips, removing the seeds and membrane from inside the chile; set aside, keeping warm.
  • Follow your favorite recipe for mashed potatoes; set aside, keeping warm.
  • Grill Slotkowski Polish Kielbasa, until heated through.


Plate Presentation:

  • Place mashed potatoes in center of plate, placing grilled Polish along side in either one or two pieces.
  • Place poblano chile strips on top of potatoes.
  • Pour cranberry sauce over chili and mashed potatoes; serve immediately.
