Product used in this recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
| 5-7 oz. | Slotkowski Polish Kielbasa |
| 8 oz. | Mashed potatoes |
| 1 | Poblano chile, roasted |
| 1/4 cup | Whole cranberry sauce, canned or fresh |
DIRECTIONS:
- To roast chile, place on an open flame and "char" the skin until completely black. Wrap chile in plastic and allow to sit for a half hour; the skin will soften, making it very easy to remove. After removing skin, slice the chile into 1/2" julienne strips, removing the seeds and membrane from inside the chile; set aside, keeping warm.
- Follow your favorite recipe for mashed potatoes; set aside, keeping warm.
- Grill Slotkowski Polish Kielbasa, until heated through.
Plate Presentation:
- Place mashed potatoes in center of plate, placing grilled Polish along side in either one or two pieces.
- Place poblano chile strips on top of potatoes.
- Pour cranberry sauce over chili and mashed potatoes; serve immediately.
